CQPIV training (sailing instructor)

Holder of a level 4 of the FFvoile, you are looking to go further and share your passion.
CQPIV training (sailing instructor) is made for you.
You will be required to pass on knowledge acquired for a long time during all your years of practice.
You will supervise in club or in sailing school all types of public.

Prerogatives, you must have:

• Federal level 4
• A valid FFvoile license
• AFPS, PSC1 or equivalent diploma in personal assistance
• From the Coastal Permit
• A certificate of Swimming with passage under obstacle

Training and Certification Program

CQP IV 2025 Training Ribbon

The CQP IV training is divided into 3 distinct skill blocks:
Training open from April 14, 2025 to October 31, 2025

• BC1: Preparation and facilitation of introductory and learning sailing sessions
• BC2: Organization, information, and communication regarding physical and sports coaching and training activities
• BC3: Maintenance, preparation, and monitoring of unsupervised sailing practice conditions in a specific nautical area

– Training on skill block 3 (BC3) and EPMSP* from April 14, 2025 to April 18, 2025
– Training on skill blocks 2 (BC2) and 1 (BC1) from July 7, 2025 to August 1, 2025

Assessment: Each candidate will be offered two dates for each assessment. An initial exam and a catch-up exam.
* EPMSP: Prerequisite for Practical Learning

• EPSMP Assessment: April 18, 2025 – June 27, 2025 – July 4, 2025
• BC1 Assessment: July 25, 2025 – July 30, 2025 – August 1, 2025 – October 30, 2025
• BC2 Assessment: July 15, 2025 – July 16, 2025 – July 29, 2025 – August 22, 2025 – October 30, 2025
• BC3 Assessment: April 18, 2025 – June 27, 2025 – July 4, 2025
